This 16-row anhydrous fertilizer applicator from Farmada with model Elxir64-5-1630 is made with 3/8" thick-walled tubing in 6" vertical x 4" horizontal build configuration (hence the model Elxir64).
The short 22" stagger front to rear of this fertilizer toolbar keeps row units from being too far apart when going over undulations (wider distances cause uneven depth of fertilizer) while allowing individual row unit stagger to reduce plugging risk in high residue conditions.
All drawbar pivots, fold pivots and lift assist/rear transport pivot pins are made with 2" hardened steel anti-rotating pins encased in maintenance free bushings.
Depth adjustment is done via single point hydraulics with no crawling under machines to install spacers onto the cylinder rods.
Inside wings flex up 15 degrees and down 15 degrees - 26 inches up and 26 inches down. The outside wings flex up 12 degrees or 30 inches.
This toolbar is equipped with a Continental Jumbo cooler with dual inlets. It can accommodate any manufacturer electronic. T
The row units are Cs style row units from industry leader ShieldAg out of Hutchinson, Kansas. Shield row units are equipped with 20" smooth coulter blades. The dual spring in a spring auto reset spring design combined with Edge Bent shanks gives the row units commercial grade durability. Dual, independent sealers with mud release blades are standard equipment. The knives are K2 conventional knives from ShieldAg. Other knife options available upon request.
