FARMADA ELXIR-5-1730 fertilizer toolbar with Yetter for No-Till
This 17-row, 30" fertilizer applicator is built to apply NH3 up to 5 1/2" deep at 8-11 mph in no-till conditions. The proven Yetter Magnum 10,000 row units are mounted in a staggered configuration on the frame to enhance residue flow.
No row unit is farther than 5 feet front to back to ensure precise front- to-rear ground contour following. 4 large in-line and rear mounted lift assist tires act as depth control along with 4 front mounted pin adjustable gauge wheels. The inner wings have a 15-degree up and a 15-degree down flex (26" up and 26" down for a 52" range) while the outer wing can flex up 12-degrees (42" up) and down 2-degrees. The gauge wheels are spread out across the frame to enhance the ground contour following of the toolbar front to back and side to side. Weight brackets are mounted onto the frame to help the machine penetrate hard ground. The rear in-line tires and drawbar configuration provide a very tight turning radius on the headlands.

History:
This unit was originally designed in 2018 as a response to fertilizer toolbars wearing or breaking prematurely. The Farmada team was assembled from various former or retired executives of a larger ag equipment manufacturer from Salina, Kansas and had combined experience in agricultural implement design and production of over 140 years.
