In our calving lot I can walk up and tag 90% of the calves if I pick the right times. When I walk up to them, I can tell what the cow is going to do. For that 10% that isn't bluffing and will run over me or run over and injure the calf getting to me. I just hook onto the calf catcher. It makes things a whole lot safer and easier.
