    Description
Order a New Kuhn SLC141 Slinger Manure Spreader. Kuhn is only building retailed units this time. Preorder a new spreader with the specifications you need. Can be ordered with splash guards, lid, scales. The SLC 141 uses the 18- hammer discharge. The wide, aggressive hammers effectively shear material and provide a consistent, even spread pattern. The continuously welded V-body tank will hold both wet and dry materials. The steep, slanted sides and twin-auger delivery design provide a consistent, even flow to the hammer expeller discharge without bridging. These features allow the Slinger to handle the widest variety of materials compared to any spreader on the market, including soupy gutter manure, semi-solids, separated solids, compost, bedding pack, mulch products and many more. The Kuhn Knight Slinger features an exclusive twin-auger design that eliminates material bridging. The raised right auger moves material rearward, while the left auger moves material forward toward the discharge door. This bidirectional movement prevents bridging and provides constant delivery of material to the swinging hammer discharge. The new hammer design has more material at the bottom, where most wear occurs, for longer hammer life. The fully adjustable door sill and shroud also help to decreased wear, extending hammer life even further. Maintaining a close clearance allows the hammers to shear material against the door sill plate and continue to move the material around the radius of the shroud using the toe of the hammer. This shearing action helps ensure a consistent, even spread pattern.
