50ft, 20-row Farmada toolbar with Raven cooler and 2-section shut-off. This is a manufacturer owned demo unit used for sales and marketing purposes - The video under the images is of this exact unit. Specifications: Row units are ShieldAg row units in the Split Mount style with coulters on the front of the toolbar and the shanks mounted on the rear. Front coulters are 20” smooth coulters. Shank mount comes with double spring in a spring design with 880 lbs of pre-load. Shank trip is set up to be linear with a gradual increase in pressure rather than a sudden trip. This reduces risk of knife breakage when shank resets itself after a trip. That is where the knives typically get damaged. Shanks are edge bent shanks. Double sealers are set up with 18” double sealer blades. Sealer blade pivots have greasable Timpken bearings to extend the life of the assembly. Sealers are tightened with flanged nuts and sealer arms are braced to allow sealers to operate in a standard position or a reverse (berm building) style. The row units are set up with 30” row spacing. The toolbar itself has 4 x 385/65R22.5 transport tires set up in pairs of 2 on each side of the center section. Each pair is arranged on an oscillating pivot point. This gives the operator the performance of tandems in the field without the jerkiness during road transport. Oscillating axles allow tires to spread the load out evenly on crowned roads to minimize wear. The toolbar has hydraulic single point depth control. Flex up and down from center section to primary wings is 20 degrees each way for a 40-degree range. Flex from the primary wing to the secondary wing is 15 degrees up and 10 degrees down. Total up flex is 96" and total downflex is 88". Toolbar is made with 6”x6” steel tubing with the center section being ½” thick and the wing sections being 3/8” thick tubing.
