Here is a 1956 John Deere 420-W Row-Crop Tractor. 75 Hours on a working tach. We believe the tach was replaced new at some point. Runs, drives and shifts real good. See video.
The current owner put in a new 6-volt battery, wiring hardness, volt regulator, ignition switch, and light switch were all installed. The engine was rebuilt and the valves have been grounded in like new condition and new gasket too. Tuned up with New Points, New Condensor and the carbonator was rebuilt too. The front tires are very good as shown. It has 38 in. rear tires. The rear tires have very good tread. The left tire has slight weather checking on the sidewall area as shown. No breaks on the manifold and it’s clean. The gears are quiet. lights and the taillights do work. Runs out good and ready to hit the field.

The owner also has a hard to find 420-H High Crop Drawbar for $850 and 2 Wheel Weights for $100 each. See last picture. The part number on the weights are D2628R. The weights fit over the hubs on most John Deere 420’s, W and High Crop Tractors.
